The Beekeeping Cooperative of the island of Thassos is a cooperative organization which has been operating continuously since 1973 with the activity of collecting honev mainly from its members, its standardization and later its promotion.

Did you know that...

Honey

Honey is a unique product, rich in aroma and flavor. The differences between flower honeys and those from coniferous trees are significant. Flower honeys contain pollen residues while honey from coniferous trees is rich in minerals. Nectar-derived honeys are light in color, lighter and crystallize, while honeydew honeys are dark in color and less crystallized.
